The two workspaces
Switch screens from the sidebar. Nightly is for each day's cash-up and its End of Night report. End of Week is the weekly wrap and report. Revenue Trend gives you the 8-week picture.
Up the top you'll see the week you're on. A fresh board opens on Week 1 of FY27 \u2014 work forwards from there, filling each week as you go. Once weeks are saved, it reopens on your most recent one.
Your nightly cash-up
- Pick the day from the day tabs.
- Revenue: drag the SwiftPOS business/accounting export onto the drop zone (or type the figures in). Food, beverage and other split out for you.
- Labour: drop in the Tanda shift export \u2014 it routes to FOH/BOH automatically, and salaried admin is added on top.
- Gaming, Keno & TAB: type tonight's net figures into the Nightly Cash Up — they show as their own lines in both reports and count toward the wage-margin base.
- Add covers, and the night's context: weather, close time, patrons at last drinks, plus any functions or bookings.
- Write your shift commentary \u2014 trade, kitchen, staff, incidents, maintenance.
Do the cash-up each night while it's fresh \u2014 the weekly numbers and both reports build straight off it.
Petty cash
Log every petty spend as you go, then square it off from banking — all from the Nightly Cash Up page.
- On Nightly Cash Up, scroll to Petty Cash — this night. Fill the entry — Item, Business Name, a GL Code from the dropdown (Beverage / Food Purchases & Cons, Bands & Ent, Office Supplies, Repairs & Maintenance, Other), GST Type/Amount, Total, who approved it and any Notes — then hit + Add petty cash entry. Trading date defaults to that night, and GST auto-fills at 1/11 of the total when the type is “GST”.
- Each entry adds to the running total, and the Petty cash row up in the safe count shows how much is out and still outstanding.
- When you square it off, hit ↩ Reimburse … from banking — that deducts the outstanding amount from the night's expected cash (POS), drops a note on the cash variance so it's clear where the money went, and marks those entries as reimbursed.
- The Petty Cash tab is the full ledger across every night: set a date range, tick off Reimbursed as you go, and Export CSV (all columns, GL code included) for the books.
GST: pick “GST Free” for anything without GST and the GST stays zero. You can always type the GST figure in by hand if the auto 1/11 isn't right for a line.
Banking
The Banking tab lists every bank bag from the nightly cash-ups in one place, ready to tick off as you drop them.
- The bags come straight from the Bankings you record each night on the cash-up — nothing extra to key in here.
- Set the date range to cover the drop you're doing (handy, since the gap between bank runs varies).
- As you drop a bag, tick Banked against it — it stamps the date it went in. The totals up top show what's banked vs not yet banked.
- Export CSV gives you the lot for the range — date, bag #, amount and banked status — for reconciling against the bank statement.
Tip: leave the range wide (say the whole period) to see everything still sitting un-banked at a glance.
The End of Night report
Once the day's in, use the report buttons to Open the End of Night report, Download it as a PDF, or copy an Email summary to send. It pulls tonight's revenue, labour, week-to-date, top sellers and your commentary into the branded report.
Setting the forecast
Enter the weekly forecast so the board can show variances (the "vs FC" columns). Without one the actuals still show \u2014 they just won't have a forecast to compare to.
The End of Week wrap
- Weekly imports: drop the week's SwiftPOS and Tanda exports into the End of Week imports up top.
- Team engagement (TES) and customer satisfaction (CST): pop in the week's scores and review counts.
- Check top sellers and food & bev margins (GP), then write the overall week summary \u2014 or hit \u201cDraft from daily logs\u201d to generate one from your nightly notes.
The End of Week report & trend
The buttons at the top of the End of Week page Open the report, Download PDF, or grab an Email summary. The report includes an 8-week trend chart that fills out as weeks are entered, plus revenue, labour, KPIs and margins against forecast and the FY27 budget.
Saving, backups & moving machines
Everything saves automatically to this browser on this computer. To back it up or move to another machine, use Export data at the bottom of the sidebar to save a file, then Import data on the other machine to load it back.
Because it lives in the browser, clearing site data or switching browser/computer starts fresh \u2014 keep an occasional export as a backup.
